Horizon client connection takes long time establish on HP ThinPro.
When creating a connection to a VMWare Horizon View environment on ThinPro it can take some time for the connection is established. This is because the client is doing a certificate revocation check but can't reach the CRL server.
The Horizon View client can be stopped doing the Certificate Revocation Check. Follow the next steps.
- Upgrade to Horizon View Client 5.3
- Open the Registry Editor from Tools menu when switched to Admin mode
- Navigate to:
- root/ConnectionType/view/connections/{UUID}/skipCRLRevocationCheck
- And set this parameter to 1
During establishing connection to the Horizon environewnt no revocation check will be executed and connection setup will be faster..
