HP ThinPro 7.2 Service Pack 9 Released

HP has released a new service pack for the ThinPro 7.2 platform.

PLATFORM:

  • ThinPro 7.2

Special note for Service Pack 9: 

If you installed Service Pack 8, you must do the following:

  1. Upgrade to Service Pack 9
  2. Execute the following commands either at the command line or via HP Device Manager.
    1. dpkg -P –force-depends thinpro-hpcem hptc-hpcem-agent
    2. fslock
    3. fslock_status
      Verify output from the last command reports “locked”

SP8 has been retired and needs to be replaced by SP9 ASAP!

  • When configuring a non-HP tablet display, the Control Panel Display Settings changes may not be saved after reboot

  • Some mobile devices incorrectly display the red battery icon with exclamation mark when ThinPro 7.2 is installed via PC Converter
  • Rebooting a Thin Client with VNC shadow connection, extended reboot time by ~2 minutes while displaying a console message
