HPDM 5 SP10: “Error 34603008” While imaging ThinPro 8

After upgrading to HPDM 5 SP 10 some problems may occur while imaging ThinPro 8.0 SP 6.2

Problem:

When trying to capture an image from a ThinClient with ThinPro 8.0 SP 6.2 the “Capture image to Master Repository” task fails with error 34603008.

Deploying an image of ThinPro 8.0 SP 6.2 may result in a failure, causing the ThinClient to reboot and restart the image deployment.

 Resolution:

Download the files from: Patch_TP8.0_SP6_Imaging.7z

  1. Go to “Tools\Imaging” in your repository, by default this is located in “C:\ProgramData\HP\HP Device Manager\HPDM\Repository\.
  2. Backup the old HPThinPro8 folder and HPThinPro8-xxxxxxxxx.desc file, then delete them.
  3. Extract Patch_TP8.0_SP6_Imaging.7z.
  4. Copy HPThinPro8 and HPThinPro8-565F18D00F3C67015088B34BD187B4C7.desc to Tools\Imaging folder.
