HOWTO: Save screen settings using HP Write Filter or UWF
Screen settings are by default restored back after a reboot, due to HP Write Filter or UWF.
Exclude the following registry key from the Write Filter:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Configuration
Al Screen Settings (Resolution, Orientation, Screen Setup etc) are retained after a reboot.
